It has been nearly a month since I updated my blog. Much has happened in that time – some extraordinarily happy events and some deeply sad events, too. In the near future I will write about those things and post some pictures of my seminary graduation. Today, however, I am posting a reminder of God’s promise to be with us in the midst of life’s storms. Interestingly, I preached about that topic last Sunday, and last night as I was driving home from church, I received a very tangible reminder of it – a brilliant rainbow! The picture does not really do it justice, but I hope it provides you, too, with a glimmer of hope of God’s promise and presence in the midst of all circumstances (both sunny and stormy days).
